Properties of red beets
Red beet is one of the most popular vegetables in the Polish traditional cuisine. Red beets are easily digested, low-calorie and do not cause allergies. Red beets contain vitamins: C, A, E, K, and minerals: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc. They are full of folic acid. They help normalise cholesterol level, reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, counteract calcification of blood vessels. They regulate blood pressure, cleanse the body.
